Good news!

We have lots of follicles on both the left and right! I'm so relieved! So so relieved!

For the first time ever, Dr. Ego was no where in sight and one of his nurses did the ultrasound and she was really short and to the point and when one of us asked a question she would get really antsy and say "Hold on, I can't do two things at once!". And then of course she left the minute the u/s was done and never attempted to answer questions! Ugh!

So first I had bloodwork drawn and I'll get those results via phone call this afternoon. I am honestly dumb to it and don't know exactly what kind of numbers I'm looking for with the bloodwork. They tested LH and estrogen I believe.

Then we did the ultrasound. I'm used to Dr. Ego being so patient and taking his time and answering every little question. But the nurse just started spitting out numbers to the assistant who was scrambling to write it all down and I thought she was just measuring my ovary but apparently she was spitting out follicle measurements. On the left there were possibly 5!!! I remember her spitting out numbers ranging from 8 to 18! I honestly wasn't that interested in the right. I think there were a few on the right too but overall they were smaller than the ones on the left...at least that is what Brian remembers hearing!

She did confirm that there were two on the left that were potentially really close to maturity and that the left side had the biggest one!

If this post makes no sense, I'm sorry! I honestly just don't know what I'm talking about  and I am trying to fit the pieces together in my head.

She said my lining was 8.4. I've read online that they like to see it over 8. Less than 8 would mean the lining wasn't thick enough to sustain implantation. So hopefully those pomegranate pills I've been taking helped a little! They obviously haven't hurt!

They went ahead and drew a bullseye on my butt so Brian will know where to give me the shot. But we don't know if we'll be taking it tonight or if we'll be going back for a repeat ultrasound in a couple days.

So now we just wait for the phone call with lab results!

Keep praying that this is OUR cycle!
